The Bible says...

For God so loved the world, that He gave His one and only Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have eternal life.” John 3:16

Whoever does not love does not know God, because God is love. 1 John 4:8

STEP 2. God is searching for you!

No matter how far you have wandered, Jesus won't reject you. He is calling you back to God today.

The Bible says…

I will search for my lost ones who strayed away, and I will bring them safely home again. I will bandage the injured and strengthen the weak. Ezekiel 34:16

For the Son of Man came to seek and save those who are lost. Luke 19:10

Perhaps you don't feel lost. However the Bible is clear - all of us, like sheep, have gone astray. We have all done wrong and wandered away from the God who created us and loves us...That's why Jesus came. He is the Good Shepherd who searches for lost sheep and brings them home.

STEP 3. Sin separates us from God

God is good. He is faithful and desires to be close to each one of us. Yet each of us have willfully rejected Him in our words, thoughts & actions. If we’re honest, we have all done wrong. The Bible calls this sin. Look at our broken world, we see the rotten fruit of sin and selfishness everywhere – lies, greed, violence etc…sin ruins relationships & pollutes our souls. Worst of all it separates us from God.

Ultimately sin leads to both physical & spiritual death. Don’t gamble with your soul! After this we face judgement & an eternity away from God’s presence. But God HAS made a way. Salvation is found in JESUS.

The Bible says …

But your sins have made a separation between you & your God, & your sins have hidden His face from you so that He does not hear. Isaiah 59:2

For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God. Romans 3:23

STEP 4. Jesus is the Bridge to life

We explained that sin separates us from God. No amount of good works, religion, or personal effort can remove this barrier... But God has made a way. This is the good news!

Jesus lived a sinless life, yet willingly suffered and died in our place. On the Cross, He took the punishment our sins deserved and paid our debt in full. As Jesus hung, bled, and died, God was saying to the world, "I love you." Three days later, Jesus rose from the dead, victorious over sin, Satan, and death.

Jesus has removed the barrier and made a way for us to come home to God.

The Bible says …

Greater love has no one than this, that someone lay down his life for his friends. John 15:13

Christ suffered and died for sins once for all. He never sinned and yet He died for us who have sinned. He died so He might bring us to God. 1 Peter 3:18

But God shows His love for us in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.

Romans 5:8
